About us

Our mission is to deliver a viable environment to future generations via the use of Renewable Energy Sources by:

  • Bringing modern renewable energy technologies to Cyprus.
  • Expanding Renewable energy sector in Cyprus.
  • Developing renewable energy for the benefit of the society.

We also believe that investing in solar power plants and increasing the independence of the energy system from fossil fuels will contribute to the economic prosperity of Cyprus and its community.
All our projects are developed with innovative technologies, which significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of the solar park.
We are confident that through our work, we can contribute to the sustainable development of Cyprus and make our planet cleaner and healthier for future generations.

Innovation

We use advanced technologies and methods in designing, constructing and operating solar power plants to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.

The introduction of modern renewable energy technologies to Cyprus is a necessary step towards achieving the goals of sustainable development and environmental safety. Furthermore, introducing new technologies in the field of solar energy makes it possible to increase the efficiency and productivity of solar power plants, as well as reduce their cost. Thanks to this, using renewable energy sources has become more affordable and attractive for businesses and society.

THE PROSPERITY OF CYPRUS THROUGH RENEWABLE

The Solar Park in Cyprus has significant value for the country’s prosperity, as it reduces dependence on the import of fossil fuels, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and reduces the burden on the country’s energy system. In addition, using solar energy reduces environmental risks and increases the country’s sustainability in the long-term perspective.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The development of clean, renewable energy in Cyprus is essential for improving society’s quality of life. It helps to reduce environmental pollution, which has a beneficial effect on the health of people and animals. Simultaneously it improves the ecological image of the island.
We actively participate in the socio-economic development of local communities and support charitable and social projects in the areas where our solar stations are located.

ROOF SYSTEMS

ROOF SYSTEMS

Cooperation that could become a reliable source of passive income and a valuable contribution to the development of clean renewable energy for society.

  • We take responsibility for the upkeep, maintenance and operation of each PV system on such a roof.
  • We undertake repairs if necessary.
  • The installation and operation of the PV system on the roof does not affect the operation of the building in any way.

SOLAR MOUNTING SYSTEMS

Solar Key Cyprus is an official distributor of the PEG® technology (mounting system for solar power plants) developed by Jurgen Technology. The PEG® provides a unique simplified high-density ground mount solution that produces 225% more land yield versus trackers and fixed tilt systems. The low profile 8-degree tilt design requires minimal spacing between modules creating an ocean of solar panels.

The PEG® is very mobile, light weight, simple to install with only hand tools, no DC trenching, no foundations, no concrete and requires minimal land giving you flexibility of choosing where to install. The PEG® provides a more sustainable solution for solar at a significantly reduced CAPEX.

DEVELOPMENT

Our goal is to make solar energy accessible and beneficial for all our clients.

You can fully trust our team of experts with the development of your solar project, knowing that we care about every detail and strive to achieve your objectives in the field of renewable energy.

  • Research and potential assessment.
  • Planning and project development.
  • Obtaining permits and licenses.

HYDROGEN

It is invisible, odourless and lighter than air, But it is the most abundant element in the Universe. The ideal complement to renewable energies in the transition to a decarbonised economy.

  • Hydrogen can be used as a fuel, an energy carrier or a feedstock and can reduce CO2 emissions in industry and transport.
  • The Energy Tax Directive sets preferential tax rates for the use of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen for end users.
  • The use of green hydrogen will make it possible to become energy independent of fossil fuel supplies

AGRIVOLTAICS

AGRIVOLTAICS

Agrivoltaics is a technology that allows land to be used simultaneously for farming and generating electricity with photovoltaics.

  • Can protect your crops against hail, frost, sunburn, drought or high temperatures.
  • Keep the ground moist(er) and protect crops from direct sunlight, resulting in a cooler and more productive environment for plant growth.
  • Create moderate temperatures which extend the growing season.
  • Increase global land productivity.

OUR SOLAR PARKs

The main characteristics of the project:

The use of modern, more efficient technologies in the placement of panels, high-quality equipment, acceptable cost of connecting to networks, and a professional team.

The service life of solar panels before reasonable replacement is over 25 years.

As part of this project, the use of agrivoltaics is also planned – a technology that involves installing solar panels on land used for agricultural crops. This will generate clean energy and increase crop yields by creating a sustainable microclimate for future crops and protecting them from adverse weather conditions.

In addition, our Solar Park utilises comprehensive solutions for rooftop solar energy systems, enabling efficient use of the available roof space, reducing building operating costs, and providing passive income to building owners.
